esztergom konferencia 2019 v 11The Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest (Hungary) hosted on May, 10-12, 2019, conference entitled “Sustainability: on a social, legal, political and environmental basis”.

 

The Catholic University in Ružomberok was represented by M. Kozová, vice-rector for science, art and foreign relations, M. Babic, dean of the Faculty of Arts and Letters and the Institutional Erasmus+ Coordinator M. Moldová Chovancová.

 

Representatives of the following institutions participated at the meeting: Catholic University of Croatia, Ukrainian Catholic University, Catholic University Pázmány Péter, Catholic University in Ruzomberok, John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Palacký University Olomouc, Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University in Georgia, Graz University of Technology, Nanovic Institute for European Studies (United States of America), John Templeton Foundation and United States Conference of Catholic Bishops' Central and Eastern Europe delegate.

 

The aim of the event was to highlight the need for humanization of society and the responsibility to the society. The meeting made it possible to discuss closer project cooperation.

 

The Catholic Universities Partnership operates within the framework of the Nanovic Institute for European Studies at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana since 2003.

 

The next conference of Central and Eastern European Catholic universities will be held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia in 2020.
