In the days from April 8, 2024 to April 12, 2024, three students from the Department of Nursing, Catholic University of Croatia in Zagreb, Ana Zecevic, Marija Vuletic and Ana Bogic participated in a practical intership at the SNP-FN Central Military Hospital in Ružomberok as a part of the Erasmus+ intership program. The preparation and coordination of the practical intership was in charge of the head of Department of Nursing, Catholic University in Ružomberok – PhDr. Marcela Ižová, PhD. and PhDr. Bc. Eva Moučíková, PhD. MPH, doc. PhDr. Jozef Babečka, PhD., from the rectorate CU Mgr. Lucia Kravčáková, from the Military hospital deputy for nursing care Mgr. Erika Ďurejová, MPH.

 After the OSH training with Ing. Stašová from the Military hospital, students completed their intership at the Clinic of Orthopedics and Traumatic Surgery under the guidance of head nurse PhDr. Mgr. Zuzana Brčeková, MPH. dipl.s., then at the Department of Vascular surgery with the head nurse Mgr. Adriana Dubovská and at the Nuclear Medicine Clinic under the guidance of prof. Anton Lacko, CSc.. The practical intership continued at the Surgical Clinic under the guidance of the head nurse, PhDr. Iveta Kurová and in the Emergency department under the leadership of the head nurse Mgr. Ida Šrobárová.

 The students were introduced to the Fasculty of Health, CU in Ružomberok and were also provided with a visit to the University Library with sister Tabitha (Mgr. Anna Chlebničanová). The last day of the practical intership was completed at the Neurosurgery Clinic with the head nurse Mgr. Janka Vraniaková. During the entire stay the students were accompanied by Katarína Zanovitová, a nursing student, to whom we owe sincere thanks.

Hereby, the whole management of the Faculty of Health, CU in Ružomberok would also like to thank all interested persons for the coordination, personal approach and willingness to cooperate with the foreign students, who became new experience and knowlege and they appreciated the positive attitude and interest of the staff from the SNP-FN Central Military hospital and teachers from the Faculty of Health, CU in Ružomberok.
