At the Childeren´s Day, on 1st June 2022, students from the Nursing department of the Faculty of Health Care, Catholic University in Ružomberok, organized an action under leadership of an external form student Viera Morongova and also Pavol Moronga from Trenčín University A.Dubčeka in Trenčín.

They made happy children from the Pediatric Ward, Military hospital SNP Ružomberok – FH and also clients from the social services Trefoil, Ružomberok together with Marcela Ižová, Ph.D. and other students - Michaela Kmeťová, Michaela Kľučiarová, Natália Klepáčová, Viktória Mihóková, Klára Hnatová. 

We prepared Minnie and Mickey mouse and presents thanks to Marek Menich (Metro Žilina). Although the original goal was to make children happy by handing out sweets, some little things and photos with favorite characters, the children prepared a wonderful program for us and gave us so many smiles, hugs, that we could take hearts of this day full of love, joy and gratitude. There is no more sincere joy than the one you see in a child's eyes. Because every child's smile and spark in the eyes we can conjure up is more valuable than the most precious gem. And it is precisely these sentences that have been etched in our hearts with memories of the best, and we will be ready to meet exactly this again in a year.
