On April 20, 2023, the International Student Conference in Health Sciences, student scientific and professional activity (known as ŠVOČ) was held at the Prešov University in Prešov, Department of Health Sciences, through the Microsoft Teams Platform (online). Iryna Kostyria, a 3rd-year student from the Department of Nursing at the University in Ružomberok, took part in the activity with the topic "Quality of life of a patient with Parkinson's disease" and Lenka Ondrušková, a student at the Department of Physiotherapy, with the topic "The occurrence of pedes plani in preschool children and the possibility of its correction". Both students were successful, with Iryna Kostyria finishing in 3rd place and Lenka Ondrušková receiving an award. We heartily congratulate both our students."
