The Buddy Program offers students of our university the opportunity to join a team that helps create an open, multicultural, and welcoming academic community.
What Does the Role of a Buddy Student Involve?
As a buddy, you become a member of an active team that:
- Welcomes international students during Welcome Week,
- Helps with orientation at the university and around the city,
- Participates in organizing international events (Language Café, Intercultural Evenings, trips, and other activities),
- Promotes student mobility opportunities and internationalization,
- Represents the university during foreign visits and public events.
Looking for a Buddy
Adapting to a new environment can be challenging, and sometimes you might feel uncertain or lost. If you are a student from Slovakia, Ukraine, or another country and:
- You are coming to the university from another city or country,
- You need help navigating student life,
- You would like to have a reliable guide who can advise and support you,
